I just saw the pageantnews.com article "unveiling" the 2015 Miss Universe contestants, and I thought I would give you my TOP 20 and picks for top 15, 10 & 5 based off my first impressions of these select pictures. I am really getting into excited pageant mode now we're gearing up for the final!

TOP 15 - In no particular order:

So there you have it! Do you agree with my first picks? I'm intrigued to see how these change once the official pics come out and we can start to get to know the contestants a little more. Who are you gunning for to win?

Weekly Edit: Interview Outfits

One of the things a lot of girls worry about is what to wear for their interview. Pageant interviews may be carried out during rehearsals, or as their own separate event. If they are during rehearsals you have to make sure your dress is something you can move in, and wear for long periods of time. However regardless of the interview format you want to wear a business appropriate dress, which flatters your body, looks great on, but is simple enough that your personality remains the main focus of your interview.

Here are 5 of my current favourite Interview outfit options, enjoy!

1. Vesper V Neck Midi Pencil Dress With Cap Sleeve, £54, asos.com.
Comes in ivory or navy, but ivory would look elegant and bright. This would look lovely with a bright lipstick and a classy statement bracelet, earrings or ring.

2Vesper Side Tie Midi Dress With Collar, £56, asos.com.
On the sexier side, we have this dress which I think is the perfect blend of sexy and business-ready. I love the deep colour, the slit at the knee, and the wrap around shape.

3. Vesper Origami Detail Plunge Front Midi Dress, £54, asos.com.
I love how this is a unique take on a very classic pencil dress. The bright colour and interesting detail will definitely make you stand out.

4. scuba collared midi dress navy, £28, misguided.co.uk
This is more demure, the colour is obviously less in your face, but the classic cut, the pretty collar detail and the flattering material and shape will make you look amazing, and allow your personality to shine through.

5. Leah High Neck Double Layer Midi Dress, £18, boohoo.com
This dress is great if you are on a budget. It comes in many different colours and is effortless, chic and flattering. You could add extra flair with your accessories, but again a simple, yet flattering dress is a great way to shine a spotlight on your personality

What do you think? Do you like these dresses? Have you found a great website or shop which sells the perfect interview attire? Tell us your thoughts below! x

Welcome to Pageant Possible!

Hello there, and welcome to an all-new blog dedicated to lifting the lid on what it really takes to become a beauty queen! From diet plans, exercise tips, advice on buying gowns on a budget and how to get the confidence to walk onstage in a bikini for the first time (trust me the experience is not what you'd think!), to International pageant reviews, interviews with reigning queens and title holders and much much more!

My name is Olivia, and I am on a quest to represent my country at one of the Big 4 International pageants. For the past 2 years I have immersed myself in the world of pageantry, and just this summer I competed for the first time at a national final. It was one of the most exhilarating, confidence-boosting and illuminating experiences of my life, and really opened my eyes to the reality of this world. Moreover I caught the 'pageant bug', and knew I wanted more. I wanted the ultimate crown! This blog will be an exposé on the reality of competing in pageants in the UK (and internationally) and will be a one-stop shop of advice, news, reviews and actually helpful advice. (You won't find the age-old "the only thing you need to win a crown is your personality and a smile" advice here!)

This blog will also document my journey from Pageant Newbie to, fingers crossed, Pageant Pro! I will be taking you along with me through the minefield of dieting, exercising and practising, as well as trialling some of the more interesting advice myself first so you don't have to!

Get excited, this world is about to become a little more sparkley!
